Meet Us in Greenport: Home & Loft on the North Fork
Since opening July 1, Home & Loft at 449 Main Street in Greenport has become a little destination for discovering thoughtfully made goods from nine independent brands, all under one roof.
After years of selling at pop-ups, flea markets, trunk shows, and holiday markets, Handan built a community of fellow makers and artists along the way. When the opportunity to take over the Greenport space came up, she invited eight of those friends to join her.
The result is a colorful, eclectic mix of Turkish textiles, Peruvian home goods, sustainable apparel, vintage pieces, handmade jewelry, art, ceramics, stationery, accessories, and small-batch soaps from Carla Colour, Intiearth, The Highlands Foundry, Iwona Ludyga Design, Skippy Cotton, Elizabeth Grubaugh, Namai Studio, and Good Rhubarb.

Each collection has its own point of view, but together they create the easy, collected feeling of a home filled with things you love, which is very much the Home & Loft spirit.
Handan’s background in visual merchandising and store design comes through in the space, where colorful textiles, artwork, accessories, and home goods are thoughtfully layered together. It’s a place to browse, discover something unexpected, and perhaps leave with a new favorite.
Come visit us at 449 Main Street in Greenport and explore the collection while you’re on the North Fork.
The collective shop will remain in the space through the end of the year. Stay tuned to Home & Loft's instagram for what’s next.
